Veterans Day Parade 11.11.24
Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11 in the United States, honors all military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. It originated as Armistice Day in 1919 to commemorate the end of World War I, which formally concluded on November 11, 1918.
In 1954, the holiday was renamed Veterans Day to recognize veterans of all wars. Unlike Memorial Day, which honors those who died in service, Veterans Day celebrates the service of all living and deceased veterans. Traditions include parades, ceremonies, and moments of reflection, as well as expressions of gratitude to those who have served.
